As far as adult games go, there aren't many out there like VirtualFem. But how does it stack up against other sex games? Is it worth it, or is it just a useless gimmick? Here's our VirtualFem review.

First Impressions

First thing's first, you'll need to create an account. Then you'll need to download the girlfriend software. Okay, so the VirtualFem website explains the whole concept behind these beauties better than I ever could. It states:

"VirtualFem lets you interact with a very cute girl, and tell her what to do. A Virtual Girlfriend who lives inside your computer; she will do anything you ask, understands plain English, and speaks to you out loud. Clever usage of high-quality full-motion video makes VirtualFems come to life!"

For those people still confused, have you ever played a striptease game like iStripper? VirtualFem is a lot like that, except instead of stripping, you have virtual sex with these chicks in a POV style. You type requests to them like "I want you to suck my cock," then you'll get a POV video of her doing just that.

My first impressions were mixed. It seems like a good idea, but one that's seems incredibly limited.

VirtualFem Gameplay

On the VirtualFem site you'll be able to choose from a whole host of girls. These girls include everything from amateur girls to big name pornstars.

Every girl comes with a list of activities she's willing to engage in, like anal, DP, blowjob, etc. Every girl has also a unique set of responses to questions you might ask her. Think of these girls like NPCs in video games, but ones played by real life women.

So, let's say you type something like "will you let me spank your ass?" the artificial intelligence system will pick up on the usage of the word 'spank' and 'ass' and then give you an appropriate response. If she's down for it, you'll be presented with a video of your girl getting spanked POV style.

But if she's not, she'll say something like "honey, you know that's not my style. How about I blow you instead?"

It's just like having a real, albeit sex-obsessed girlriend living inside your computer. I guess that's what every guy wants.

How much does VirtualFem cost?

VirtualFem costs $29.99 for a full membership. However, once you download one of the VirtualFems to your computer, you have all of her video clips available forever, even if you're no longer a member.

Pros

Registration is quick and easy. Basic details, verify your age and you're good to go.

VirtualFem is a great idea. It's an extension of the iStripper idea and it takes virtual POV screwing to its limits (short of making it Oculus Rift compatible).

The voice acting is really welll and every girl speaks perfect, sexy English. Even if they don't understand a command, they'll say something equally as erotic to keep you happy.

All girls come with photo packs when you download them. This shows them in an array of sex positions and outfits.

All VirtualFems have something called an "emotion system" (also known as a "mood system") to add a sense of realism to their personalities. This means they react differently on different days so as not to appear too robotic.

The game has actually been available since 2004(!) but utilizes regular software advancements to keep it modernized.

Graphics are perfect since it utilizes real life high-quality clips.

Thousands of women to choose from. You'll be spoilt for choice when choosing your hottie.

The artificial intelligence is so good it's scary. For any AI nerds out there, it uses something called the "front brain system" and "speech synthesis" to ensure a truly authentic reaction no matter what you ask.

Cons

The game is essentially a series of POV videos joined together. Due to this, there's no transition between scenes.

Outside of the fact she sometimes say's things which aren't sex-related, the whole experience is basically one long POV video. If you've played the Life Selector games, it's more or less the same thing.

Should you play VirtualFem?

It's an interesting experience for sure, but it feels like it's missing something. I respect the amount of effort the developer has put in, and it's clearly one of the more popular games since it's been around for 17 years.

The girlfriend elements are fun, but the sexual side is no different than watching a POV video on Pornhub. For that reason, I'm giving VirtualFem 3/5 stars.
